Bed and Breakfast accommodation is plentiful across the region and something of a tradition. Whether in a town, village or on a farm, there is a B&B to suit just about everyone. Generally well furnished, equipped to fairly modern standards, and all offering a good breakfast, a warm welcome and local knowledge. 

B&B accommodation makes for an affordable short break or overnight stop. Prices are usally keen, and out of season there are usually plenty of special offers (such as stay three nights, pay for two) available.

Providers range from private homes, farmhouses, pubs and small inns. Many places simply post a sign on the roadside, not always easy to spot, but worth keeping an eye out for, especially off the beaten track.
